Jonathan Hornby is a Professional Photographer and Cinematographer currently serving in the U.S. Army as a Non-Commissioned Officer Paratrooper, specializing in photo and video production at the 82nd Airborne Division’s Public Affairs Office in Fort Bragg, N.C. As an avid film photographer, he won numerous photography awards and is recognized as the lead videographer at the 82nd Airborne Division. Thanks to his one-stop video production capabilities, you can find him gainfully employed on many quality productions and collaborations with his colleagues and local filmmakers both in and out of uniform.
Jonathan employs both contemporary digital cameras and traditional celluloid cameras as equal creative tools to create unique and dynamic still and moving images. He’s one of a few local filmmakers that owns and operates his own Super-8 and Super-16mm camera packages, including the venerable Aaton XTR Prod system for the very best in cinema productions.
With 20 years of experience still photography, you can expect the very best in quality when you need that once-in-a-lifetime event captured and shared for years to come.
